aZZ took 1st at lap 6 when a brief
lapse of concentration put BD into the dust. However, BD lost little time as
he skillfully prevented making contact with the concrete wall. |
|
|
First
to pit in was aZZ at the end of lap 12 (BD 16th, Cheese 18th). Although aZZ's
pit team failed to get him back on the track in time to prevent the donner
jagganaught steaming through, he held his nerve until the boys had to make
their pit. |
|
aZZ help 1st for the final 6 laps
after some heated and lengthy pursuits. |
|
|
Mezza wasn't up to his usual speedy
best and it appeared his heavier Focus held him back on this particularly
hilly course. |
|
|
Unfortunately, Ralcos
car also didn't seem to be tuned to perfection. Dangerous amounts of
understeer put him into the pit wall at the end of lap 1, ending his race. |

In the interest of
fairness, Ralcos' single point has been deducted and replaced with Mez's 4
points he earned racing for Team Mezziah Simplex. |
